Ensemble Illyrica
is a Zagreb-based ensemble which commissions genre-bending works from composers, and collaborates with other performers and visual artists.
Hailed for their “creative ecstasy, freshness, tonal harmony and rhythmic clarity” (Novi List) Illyrica has performed in major festivals and venues across Europe, such as Lednice-Valtice Festival, Wiener Musikverein, Zagreb Biennale, Scena Amadeo, and Kultursommer Wien. In 2022, Illyrica released their debut album on Hitchtone Music.
Unheard-of//Ensemble
Unheard-of is contemporary chamber ensemble that creates engaging interdisciplinary works in direct collaboration with emerging visual artists and composers. By recording and performing these works on our extensive tours, we afford audiences across the United States access to this broad, and perhaps unheard-of spectrum of live performance.
Synesthetic Project
is an interdisciplinary artist collective led by the Vienna-based flutist Nika Bauman. Through a series of collaborations with dancers, visual and multimedia artists, the project explores the concepts of diversity, understanding, tolerance, and communication.
eco|tonal
An ecotone is a transitionary area between two biological communities, an apt metaphor for the musical collaboration of Iva Casian-Lakos and David Crowell. By combining its members’ diverse musical backgrounds, eco|tonal has developed a new electro-acoustic sound straddling the intersection of ambient, contemporary classical, and experimental indie pop worlds.
