The Mayflower Art Center (MFAC) launches its inaugural concert series musiCON at the Marc A. Scorca Hall of National Opera Center, NY, on November 18 & 19, 2022. “In Bloom”, the first production of the series, consisting of two concerts, will premiere four winning works from the international Call for Scores competition and works of talented aspiring young composers of MFAC.

Mayflower Art Center (MFAC), an art institute founded by composer Mr. Yiming Wu, focuses on guiding young composers, helping them to reach the professional level by using leisure to study and pave them as future peers. For years, MFAC nurtured numerous prize winners in various competitions, such as BMI Student Composer Award, ASCAP Morton Gould Young Composer Awards, etc. Some of the awarded compositions will be included in the program of “In Bloom”.
